9/13/20 -The Presence of God – In the midst of the chaos and confusion all around us, we “live in the shelter of the Most High.” (Psalm 91:1)As we remember 9-11 and continue to navigate the unprecedented challenges of our time, we will say to our God, “My refuge and my fortress; my God in whom I trust.” (Psalm 91:2)  We look forward to a powerful message on Sunday from our lay speaker, Stephen Goe, who was a first responder on September 11, 2001. He will reflect on the difference it makes to trust in God and to know that Christ is with us even in the midst of the storm, saying, “Peace! Be still.” (Mark 4:39)

February 16: Dying and Rising with Christ   Romans 6:1-15, 23 —- The process of salvation completely transforms our way of living through our kinship with Christ, a relationship that leads us from death into life.
February 9: Building Character   Romans 5:1-10  — As we encounter obstacles and even suffering along our faith journey, Paul says that we develop, “endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us.”  (Romans 5:3-5)  We grow in faith from the inside out.
February 2: Freed from Sin   Romans 4:1-9 — What is sin?  How do we participate and how can we get free?
