August/September Schedule of Events

 * All of August and on Sept. 1, we will worship at 11:00am up the hill in historic Bethel Chapel. Plan to park on the street and walk. There is no room for cars near the chapel.

Sunday    8/25 11 a.m. Service at the Chapel, on Zoom and the phone

Sunday    9/1  11 a.m. Communion Service at the Chapel, on Zoom and phone

                           3 p.m. Service at Bethel Cemetary commemorating the Reverend Fletcher who was the pastor at Asbury 1916-1921.  All are welcome.  

Sunday    9/8  11 a.m. Services resume at the main sanctuary

Wednesday 9/4 7:00 p.m. Worship Committee will meet on Zoom.

Saturday    9/14 9:30 a.m. Sally Read Book Club

                              TBD The Village Tag Sale.  We are planning a Pop-up! Please look for gently-used Fall items to drop off at the church in the week before 9/14.

Thursday 9/15 7:00 p.m.  Ad Council will meet, location TBD.

Saturday 9/17 10:00 a.m. United Women in Faith plan to meet in the Social Hall.

Starting in September, please join us for a sermon series titled

“Do Unto Others”. Let’s explore together the implications of

The Golden Rule, and how we can follow it in our daily lives.
