Thursday 10/17 7:00 p.m. Ad Council Meeting in Parsonage and on Zoom.
Saturday 10/19 5:00 p.m. – Dinner Church
Bring your food around 4:45: pasta theme for entrees and/or a dessert of your choice.
Meal: 5 pm, Worship to follow. Bring your shoes for a “Blessing of the Soles.”
NO WORSHIP SERVICE SUNDAY 10/20 so church may participate in Run Against Hunger.
The demolition at Asbury Methodist Church has revealed a bit of history the readers of this page might like. The education wing that housed the Play & Learn classrooms used to be a bank, the County Trust Company, which was purchased by the church in 1968 and remodeled and re-opened as the school in 1969. Tearing down the ceiling uncovered lovely skylights from the old bank.
